Founded in 1993 as a privately held software and development company, KCCG was the base office for the undertaken research and production of major SCS Systems solutions. The highly successful partnership culminated in a service agreement between KCCG and Reuters PLC and the set up of the Reuters Room Service.

In 1995, KCCG began work on the proprietary technology behind SCSNet, a wide-area network communications system, which was used to develop DealNET for the Dow Jones Telerate. DealNet has since been installed in more than 100 banks, including a European Central Bank, to process foreign exchange and fixed income trading. It is now established as the world’s leading automated Treasury bill auction system.

In 1998 the decision was taken to go to the market directly, which led to the relocation of research and development – SCS Systems – to the UK, with KCCG remaining in the region as the first Arab Internet development and regional software house and fully-fledged e-business consultancy in the GCC.
